The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed.

So begins Stephen King’s series of novels concerning the Dark Tower.

Begun in March of 1970, the series now encompasses four novels, each somewhat lengthier than its predecessor. Oh, and a short novella now also. How far along are we in the tale? That's hard to say, perhaps halfway. When will the series be completed? That too is hard to say. What is easy to say is that the Dark Tower books are among my favorites of all King's work, a sentiment shared by many of King's constant readers.

Among the pages here you will find three categories; the Argument (a brief synopsis of each book wherein spoilers abound), a list of Characters, and some Dark Tower Theories, included “for a pretty.” Please feel free to email me to discuss any of the material on these pages, let me know if there’s something I’ve missed.
