The Schoolhouse
The Schoolhouse sits just a stone’s throw away from the jail ruins, making an interesting
picture. Whether it was built near the jail by design or for some other reason, it was most
surely used by the schoolteachers as a sign of what might become of a youngster were he to not
finish his “schoolin.”
